Beschreibung:

 This is a 90-minute course which will be as diverse as the newspaper headlines! We?ll take an important breaking story from the week?s news and look at the vocabulary used in articles from UK and US news websites or newspapers. And then we?ll watch BBC or CNN video clips of the story and talk about this and other events going on that week. So you?ll have lots of practice of up-to-date topics and learn the words you need to talk about them.

Materials will be provided by the teacher.

Simon Banwell, geboren und aufgewachsen in England, Studium der Literatur und Kunstgeschichte. Seit 2000 an der Volkshochschule Berlin Mitte tätig. Lizenzierter TEFL-Lehrer und TELC-Prüfer, unterrichtet er insbesondere auch Vorbereitungskurse für die Cambridge Certificates. Weiterhin gibt er bundesweit Seminare zu Unterrichtsmethodik und Medien-Didaktik im Fremdsprachen-Unterricht.
