Beschreibung:

 In improvisational theatre, there is often an expectation that scenes should be fast and funny. In so doing, the story may get lost and players may feel pressure to find surface-level jokes and humour. In this class, we slow down and give characters time to develop. We focus on emotions, relationships and collaborative storytelling. The result is deep, memorable scenes that move people filled with characters whose humour comes from a place of honesty.

Participants who have taken at least one improv course (English level B2).

Kasia Lyjak ist Improspielerin, Yogalehrerin und Sozialarbeiterin. Sie spielt Impro seit 2009, seitdem war sie Mitglied in einer der ersten Improtheatergruppen in Polen. 2024 gründete sie Polskie Impro Berlin, wo sie Impro auf Polnisch unterrichtet und Shows produziert.

Zusatzinformation:

 Der Kurs findet im Theaterraum am Standort Bergmannstraße statt. Bitte bringen Sie Turnschuhe oder leichtes Schuhwerk mit. Straßenschuhe sind im Theaterraum nicht erlaubt. Der Kurs richtet sich an Menschen mit Impro-Erfahrung, die Englisch (mindestens auf dem Sprachniveau B2) sprechen.
