Beschreibung:

 This course gives you the opportunity to explore new topics, expand your vocabulary, and engage with a variety of conversational subjects.

Course content
We will read English language short stories, for example by Carson McCullers, Alice Munro and George Orwell. The participants will read short stories at home.

Who is this course for?
Participants must have fully completed B1. They may already have started B2 and will continue progressing through the B2 course.

Learning goals
Express and justify opinions, participate in discussions, and support your views with reasons. Express nuances and outline the advantages and disadvantages of different options.

Methods
Analyse, discuss and debate / hold conversations about topics stimulated by the short stories.

Materials will be provided by the tutor for a small fee.
