Beschreibung:

 Es ist Zeit, sich wieder zu verbinden. Mit sich, mit anderen, mit dem Raum, zusammen. In der Gruppe eignen Sie sich in Bewegung den Raum neu an - ob im Studio oder im öffentlichen Raum, drinnen oder draußen.
Anhand von angeleiteten Improvisationen und Movement Scores erforschen wir die Gegensätze und Qualitäten von Nähe und Distanz. Der Unterricht beginnt mit einem Warm-up aus einer Kombination von Yoga, Klein- und Release-Technik. Durch tanztechnische und improvisatorische Ansätze erfahren und erlernen Sie individuell die Grundprinzipen von Kraft/Gewicht, Zeit und Raum. Gemeinsam erproben Sie - zu Musik oder in Stille - Bewegungsaufgaben bis hin zu spielerischen Kompositionen. Jede*r Teilnehmer*in kann experimentieren, eine eigene Bewegungssprache finden und Lebendigkeit spüren.

Kurssprache ist Deutsch und Englisch.

Voraussetzungen: mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung mit somatischer Körperarbeit sowie Tanzimprovisation oder der vorherige Besuch des Kurses 'Re-connect - Zeitgenössischer Tanz und Improvisation 1'. Außerdem Offenheit für Neues.


Patricia Woltmann ist freischaffende Choreographin und Tänzerin. Sie studierte bei Trinity Laban in London und schloss mit einem MA in Dance Studies ab. Zentrale Themen ihrer Arbeit sind der Körper als Potential für Verwandlung, Erinnerung und Kommunikation. An der Schnittstelle zwischen Tanz und bildender Kunst erschafft Patricia mit ihren Performances einen Raum für kollektive, verkörperte Erfahrungen. Als Künstlerin verwirklichte Patricia zahlreiche Projekte mit Kindern, Jugendlichen und Erwachsenen, z.B. am Bode-Museum, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlinische Galerie, Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart. Seit 2011 ist sie als Gastdozentin für Improvisation und Choreographie an der Erika Klütz Schule Hamburg tätig.
In ihrem Unterricht gibt es Raum für spielerisches Entdecken und den Ausdruck einer eigenen Bewegungssprache.

Re-connect - Contemporary Dance and Improvisation 2 (advanced)
It?s time to reconnect. With yourself, with others, and with space - together. In this group setting, you will re-claim and re-experience space through movement - whether in a studio or public space, indoors or outdoors.
Through guided improvisations and movement scores we explore the contrasts and qualities of closeness and distance.
Each session begins with a warm-up that combines elements of yoga, Klein technique, and release-based work. Through dance-technical and improvisational approaches, the basic principles of force/weight, time and space are individually experienced and learned. We will try out movement tasks together - to music or in silence - which evolve into playful compositions.
Every participant is invited to experiment, find their own movement language and experience a sense of aliveness.

Languages: German and English.
Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in somatic bodywork and dance improvisation, or prior participation in the course Re-connect - Contemporary Dance and Improvisation 1 or 1/2. A general openness and curiosity are also essential.


Patricia Woltmann is a freelance choreographer and dancer. She studied at Trinity Laban in London and holds an MA in Dance Studies. Situated at the intersection of dance and visual art, her performances open spaces for collective, embodied experiences. As an artist, Patricia has developed numerous projects with both adults and young people, in collaboration with institutions such as the Bode-Museum, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlinische Galerie, and Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin. Since 2011, she has been a guest lecturer in improvisation and choreography at the Erika Klütz Schule in Hamburg. Her classes offer space for playful, collective exploration and the unfolding of each participant?s unique movement language.

 Der Eingang befindet sich im Durchgang zum Café Rix - dort geht links eine Treppe zum Eingang ab. Sollte die Tür geschlossen sein, klingeln Sie bitte bei "Probensaal". Der Raum befindet sich im ersten Stock. Bitte kommen Sie möglichst pünktlich zum Kurs, damit die Kursleiterin Ihnen nicht nach Kursbeginn die Türen öffnen muss.

The entrance is located in the passageway to Café Rix - there is a staircase to the entrance on the left. If the door is closed, please ring the bell for ?Probensaal?. The room is on the second floor. Please come to the course as punctually as possible so that the instructor does not have to open the doors for you after the course has started.
