About the course instructor: Thomas O?Meara is an English teacher and writer from Ireland, living in Berlin. He has been teaching English for twelve years, and lecturing English for International Media and Computer Science for ten years at university level in Berlin, as well as a wide variety of other language schools. He also teaches Creative Writing, and has been working for seventeen years on a three-part novel. It is a work of personal mythology, set in the 12th century, a mix between historical fiction, and dark fantasy, although he prefers to place it in the saga tradition. He balances his intuitive introverted nature, and the creative, imaginative, inward-looking focus of a writer, with a more extroverted, people-oriented focus, in the service to others, as a teacher, and receives energy and inspiration from both. He is inspired, creative, disciplined, and devoted.
