Beschreibung:

 Der Kurs wird in Englisch durchgeführt.

This course introduces beginners and professionals to Python for trading and financial analysis. You will start from Python fundamentals, then learn to handle market data, analyze trends, and build basic trading strategies using code.

The instructor will guide participants with hands-on examples, real financial datasets, and small projects.

Course Modules
Module 1:
Python Basics for Finance Learn Python step by step with variables, loops, functions, and data types.
Apply Python to financial datasets, understand market data structures, and visualize prices and returns using pandas and matplotlib.

Module 2:
Market Data Handling & Visualization Discover how to load, clean, and manipulate historical stock, forex, and cryptocurrency data.
Create insightful visualizations, calculate returns, moving averages, and detect trends to understand market behavior.

Module 3:
Trading Strategies & Logic Explore algorithmic trading fundamentals.
Code simple strategies such as moving average crossovers or RSI signals, backtest them on historical data, and implement rule-based decision logic for buy/sell actions.

Module 4:
Projects & Mini Trading System Apply your skills to a mini trading project: load live or historical datasets, analyze trends, generate signals, and simulate a trading portfolio.
Build a simple end-to-end Python workflow from data input to trading decisions.

By the end of this course, you will be able to
- Write Python programs to handle and analyze financial data.
- Load, clean, and visualize market datasets to extract insights.
- Implement simple rule-based trading strategies.
- Build a mini trading system pipeline demonstrating end-to-end analysis and decision-making.

Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Computers and nice to have Python basics.
- You need Python installed (Version 3.x).

 The course takes place online on the learning platform vhs.cloud. To participate you need a course code, which you will receive with the registration confirmation.

We recommend participating from a computer with a headset and camera. Current browser versions of Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome are required to actively use the conference tool.
