Beschreibung:

 This new course offer gives you the opportunity to practise your English and discuss culture, lifestyle and current affairs in a relaxed, friendly and openminded context.

Each week we?ll draw inspiration from articles, podcasts, song lyrics or short films from a variety of reputable sources like the BBC and The Guardian among others. We?ll discuss the themes and look at some of the vocabulary, expressions, pronunciation, colloquial language and sentence structures in the source material.

Through conversations we?ll aim to identify how certain narratives shape our identities, how we can bridge the gap between ourselves and others and how authentic and compassionate communication can nourish a deeper understanding of ourselves and those we perceive to be different. This course is much about listening as it is about sharing your own ideas and perspectives.

Materials will be provided by the teacher.
