Beschreibung:

 In the world today, the importance of being able to present ideas in the English language is very important. This compact seminar offers you the chance to learn and practice key presentation skills in a relaxed and creative atmosphere.
Your English will get a good 'work out' while you:
a) Learn to give presentations in English.
b) Take part in challenging role-plays and language games.
The seminar is designed so that you can enjoy yourself and improve your English at the same time. Learning useful English vocabulary/phrases and practicing them in situations, such as: a) giving speeches; b) discussing in groups c) using English small-talk.

Target Group: Persons interested in learning and mastering the techniques of giving effective presentations in English.

Course requirement: A knowledge of English at the intermediate level (B1 and higher).

Goals of Seminar in Detail:

? To empower the participants to structure and present their
research findings and other topics, effectively.
? To increase the self-confidence of the participants to hold
presentations. This is done by learning key strategies, tools and
perspectives to reduce their fears.
? The learning of important presentation language and correction
(if necessary) of the participants' pronunciation and grammar
? To enable participants to hold spontaneous speeches and 'mini-
presentations'.
? Using video, structured and positive feedback from the trainer
and the other participants help to improve the presenter's self-
image and presentation style.
? To practice keeping within the presentation time limits.
? To learn the attitudes and techniques needed to master
'Question and Answer Periods'.
