Beschreibung:

 The course is aimed at anyone interested in film who has a basic knowledge of screenwriting and would like to develop their own film idea and turn it into a screenplay. The focus is on finding thematic focus, identifying the main conflicts, developing characters, creating lively dialog and rehearse industry pitching.
The lessons are tailored to the interests and projects of the participants. Those who wish can also work on their own material in greater depth with voluntary homework. The aim of this advanced course is to produce your own exposé with an elaborated key scene - in the case of short film projects, a first draft of the screenplay is possible.


Gitti Grüter studied philosophy, film studies, video art, and documentary filmmaking at the bachelor's level and completed a master's degree in film directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Potsdam. After a guest semester in screenwriting at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, she attended the screenwriting workshop at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). Since 2012, Gitti Grüter has been working as a freelance writer, director, producer, and screenplay consultant. Her films have been shown at numerous international film festivals. She has also taught at various film schools and for the Goethe Institute in Iraq.
