Beschreibung:

Improvised theatre is coming up with scenes, games, and whole plays in front of a live audience. But really we're all improvising in every day life too. Every unplanned situation and conversation has an element of improv in it.
When any situation changes unexpectedly and you react in the moment, you're improvising.

We'll do some basic acting and voice training and we'll look into important aspects of the art form, such as spontaneity, presence, status - acting, and letting yourself fail. Partner-, and group exercises will lead us to improvising short scenes and having fun with the art form.

In this weekend intensive we want to look into what Improvised theatre is, how we can start doing it ourselves and what it can do for us.

Practicing improv can teach you to:

- Increase spontaneity.
- Become a better listener.
- Teach you to adapt and change.
- Be in the moment.
- Relax in stressful situations.
- Accept mistakes and learn from them.

This course is great for you if:
- You've never done improv before and want to try it out before potentially joining a longer course.
- You have some improv experience but are curious about the basics and want to give yourself some time to improve.
- You like having fun.

No prior acting experience required. This course will be in English, but don't worry if your English isn't perfect, we'll make it work. And maybe we'll find the humor in our mistakes and learn to laugh about ourselves.

On the stage anything can happen.
