Beschreibung:

Spontaneously creating scenes, pretending to be someone else, really listening to each other and being present in the moment. Improv is meant to be fun and entertaining, but it can teach us to become better communicators and to be more relaxed in stressful situations. It can make us more aware of the way we interact with people, more spontaneous and even quick witted in conversations.

In this weekly course we'll go into the basics of improvised theatre. What is it? What does one do? And what does one do to do better?

We'll do brain and physical exercises, as well as some basic acting and voice training and we'll look into important aspects of the art form, such as spontaneity, presence, status - acting, and letting yourself fail. Partner-, and group exercises will lead us to improvising short scenes and having fun with the art form.

No prior acting experience required. This course will be in English, but don't worry if your English isn't perfect, we'll make it work. And maybe we?ll find the humour in our mistakes and learn to laugh about ourselves.

On the stage anything can happen.
