This workshop explores dishes from India?s long and diverse coastline, where coconut, aromatic spices, and fresh ingredients create unique, unforgettable flavours. Together, we will prepare a complete meal that is easy to recreate at home.
We will start with Basmati rice - fluffy, fragrant, and the foundation of many Indian meals, then a vibrant beetroot Pachadi (a fresh salad with coconut and yoghurt) to add colour, mild sweetness, and acidity.
The highlight is Meen Moilee, a delicate fish curry cooked in coconut milk with turmeric, curry leaves, and green chillies . mild, creamy, aromatic; very distinct from heavier North Indian curries found in restaurants.
To finish, we prepare Shrikhand, a chilled yoghurt dessert flavoured with saffron and cardamom - light, velvety, and subtly sweet.
The menu is paired with a glass of crisp white wine to elevate it further. The course is held in English. The instructor can also answer your questions in German
❕ The costs for the ingredients used (18.00 Euro) are included in the course fee. These will not be refunded in case of a short-term cancellation (from the 5th day before the course starts).
